The Ripley Arnold residents will have choices in selecting the
replacement-housing unit in which they will live. The residents will
have the following choices for a replacement-housing unit:
- An apartment in an existing public housing complex, or
- An apartment in a complex that accepts Section 8 vouchers, or
- A replacement apartment in one of the newly acquired or
constructed complexes
- If they qualify, the resident may seek to participate in a home
ownership program.
Residents that select to live in newly acquired or constructed
apartment may have to move into a temporary apartment for a period of
six to eighteen months.
It is the goal of the FWHA to have the Ripley Arnold residents
relocated in permanent or temporary housing units by August 1, 2002.
