The FWHA’s Resident Services Department is responsible for assessing the needs of residents and coordinating resident-focused programs that encourage them to achieve their highest level of economic and social independence. The department links program participants to much needed vocational, employment, and educational training, transportation, daycare, health care, and other ancillary services.
Many of the residents living at FWHA properties are in need of supportive
services that enable them to live independently and enhance and maintain the
quality of their lives.
For those in need, FWHA’s Social Services Coordinator will conduct a comprehensive needs assessment, provides individual case management and works with local community service providers to meet their educational, physical, medical, social, and mental health needs.
For more information about these services or how to receive referral
assistance, please call Doris Haywood at 817.335.2216.
